The Human-Centred Quality Initiative is developing a shared Practice Model describing the enduring practices that define Human-Centred Quality.
We invite contributors not to redefine the discipline, but to help articulate how Human-Centred Quality is expressed within their own professional context.
Whether you work in testing, architecture, healthcare, engineering, product management, operations, research, education or another discipline entirely, your experience can help strengthen our collective understanding.
Contributions we are especially seeking
- How is Human-Centred Quality expressed in your profession?
- Which practices are most important in your context?
- Where do existing quality approaches work well?
- Where do they struggle?
- What have you learned that others might benefit from?
Keep it simple
Choose the form that best fits your thought.
Contributions should be easy to offer and easy to digest. Sophistication is welcome where it adds value, but never required merely to gain entry.
Something I repeatedly observe
A recurring behaviour, tension or outcome that may deserve a name.
Something we have not answered
A question that could expose a gap or open a useful line of inquiry.
Something that happened
An anonymised real situation and the learning it produced.
Something we should reconsider
A respectful disagreement supported by reasoning, context or evidence.
Something that worked
A practical approach that improved understanding, judgement or outcomes.
A contribution can be brief
Three prompts are enough.
- What did you observe or experience?
- What do you think it means?
- What should the Initiative explore, change or preserve because of it?
- How might this influence the way Human-Centred Quality is practised within your profession? (optional)
